VODAFONE AUSTRALIA CONNECTS WITH AEROMOBILE FOR IN-FLIGHT MOBILE USE

Vodafone is bringing its game-changing $5 international roaming to the skies, allowing customers to enjoy in-flight connectivity 20,000 feet above the ground for the first time.

As a result of this agreement, Vodafone and Panasonic Avionics, through its wholly owned subsidiary Aeromobile Communications Ltd. (Aeromobile), will deliver end-to-end connectivity to airline passengers providing an extra dimension to the in-flight connectivity experience.

The new in-flight roaming service can be accessed for just $5 per day, enabling Vodafone postpaid customers to talk, text, browse the internet, and stream in standard definition when travelling internationally on selected airlines.

Through its subsidiary Aeromobile, Panasonic Avionics joins forces with mobile operators around the world to include in-flight roaming in compelling retail propositions like their mainstream packages, to improve the travel experience for their subscribers.
